Ross Lusted is Chef/Owner of Three Hatted restaurant, The Bridge Room, one of Sydney’s most beloved dining establishments and awarded the coveted Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide’s Restaurant of the Year award 2016.
After an extensive career in award winning restaurants and hotels around the globe, including Rockpool, Darley Street Thai, harbourkitchen&bar, Singapore’s Mezza9 and head of Food & Beverage Development for Amanresorts, Ross returned home to Australia to open his own venture, The Bridge Room, with his wife Sunny.
Lusted’s menu evolves constantly, influenced by his travels throughout Asia, Europe and the US with many dishes prepared over binchotan charcoal. The interplay of vivid flavours and textures is a feature of his unique cooking style.
Ross Lusted was awarded Chef of the Year by the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide and Hottest Chef in Australia by The Australian HOT 50 Restaurants 2014. The Bridge Room has been awarded Hottest Restaurant NSW 2015 by The Australian HOT 50 RESTAURANTS 2015, 3 stars and #8 in Australia by Gourmet Traveller Magazine in their 2016 guide, honoured with the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy – Global Selection 2015 and awarded Financial Review’s Australia’s Top 100 Restaurants 2015. Ross has been featured on MasterChef and SBS’s Food Safari program.
