Matt Lonne has spent his 23-year culinary career at some of the most iconic and regarded hotel brands all across Australia. He has been the recipient of numerous accolades in the industry, most notably, he was awarded the Australian Hotels Association WA Cookery Service Award three times, inducting him into the prestigious AHA WA Hall of Fame.
Matt has a passion for nurturing talent, working closely with TAFE and culinary associations to equip his chefs and apprentice chefs to develop the aptitude to flourish in the industry.
In his role as Executive Chef at Pan Pacific Perth, Matt brings a fresh yet creative culinary style, along with a wealth of hospitality industry experience. Matt describes his style as 2 parts fresh, 1 part simple and 7 parts creative and is delighted to be leading some exciting changes at one of Perth’s best hotels, including the introduction of a rooftop garden.
