Starting his apprenticeship in Noosa Heads 21 years ago, Guy Jeffreys is now in charge of the kitchen and garden at Millbrook Winery in Jarrahdale, Western Australia, where he grows, picks and cooks heirloom vegetables from the property’s one acre garden. Over the last five years Guy and his team have consecutively been awarded Top Ten Western Australia Regional by Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide, and One Star in The West Australian Good Food Guide. The kitchen prides itself on serving their customers handmade, estate grown, simple country fare featuring local artisan producers.
Guy has also given his time to be involved in a range of events including Basement Dinner Sessions, A Celebration Of The Farmer And The Thoughtful Chef, FeNaClNG, Truffle Kerfuffle, Let’s Talk Gardening Curtin FM, Celebration Of Women Long Table Lunch, Qunci Villas Chef In The Wild Series and of course, Starlight Five Chefs Dinner, which he has been a part of since 2013.
One of Guy’s passions is to promote local produce and make people think about where their food comes from.
